Thought I would share this with you, it’s a SLIP on Geeks.com and I called and got the “were going to change it soon speach”.

Anyways, what makes this SOOO special? They have the other model 3280 for $399 with a bag PLUS shipping… Well the one on sale with a $6 bag (yes, check it out) is the older model with a 3 cell battery (1-1.5hrs) this model has the 6 Cell battery (2.5hrs avg.). That’s about it. Honestly.

Just thought I’d share.

Oh there actually Selling, as in SOLD and COMPLETED on eBay for $440-529. So don’t get suckered.

I caught this as we deal with Evertek, their wholesale division. Who has the one listed above for $390 at 4+, so this is cheaper for us and we only need to purchase 1.

Vista on these is a DOG, but you can’t get the Microsoft Refund (RMA your OS CD and COA sticker to Acer(works with Dell and HP for a refund of $79-199)) because it doesn’t come with a CD for the Vista Basic. However XP and PC Linux 2007 FLY and everything works perfectly, XP requires a driver download for a few things but there really easy to get on ACER’s site. You can however sell the COA on eBay for $30 + .42 shipping, so long as you don’t activate it that is legal. PC Linux 2007 is free and VERY VERY VERY GOOD!

OSx86 also installs just nice too. But that’s a No-No. Not everything works there.

I bought 2 of these off Woot like a year ago couldnt be happier , basic mp3 play with blue lcd display, best part is toss in a 1 gig sd card and you have yourself a nice mp3 player,beats the pants off a shuffle, you can see the songs on the LCD

the select button feels a little cheap but hasnt broke on over a year (11 year old kid use)

great for chirstmas gifts..
