Hey football fans. Getting to be that time of year again. If you’re like me, some of you are only with DirecTV because of the Sunday Ticket. I’ve had no problems the last couple of years getting Superfan added for free by calling customer service and speaking with them about costs, sign-up promises, etc. However, it’s sometimes taken a few calls and I know not everyone is always successful.

This has apparently been sent in generic emails to various customers but from what I understand there is no record as to who receives it or not. You can buy the keyboard and mouse at Circuit City today for $79.99. Then price match it on sunday to Staples price of $14.99(next sundays staples ad). You’ll get back $71.5+tax. So you end up with a keyboard and mouse for 8.49+tax(if your state has tax).

while browsing around waiting for my prescriptions to be filled , i found the Philips 10 gb external hard drivess for $29.81 . i had been wanting to get one of the cheap 8 gb flash drives that have been going around , but was discouraged by the slow transfer rates . i hooked this one up and transfered a 700 meg avi file in a little more than a minute . i figure thats about 10 megs per second . these are about twice the size of the usb flash drives but still really portable . they come with a short usb extension and a disc (havent checked to see whats on disc) . seems pretty decent to me .
