I went today to my Microcenter Store and saw the Verbatim DVD+R DL 20 Pack (Made in Singapore) were on sale at $24.99. I then went to my local Best Buy and found the exact same item priced at $39.99 (MIS). I was able to successfully pricematch it to 23.49. I then went to another BB and found those DVDR were Made in India (MII). So YMMV.

HP LaserJet P1005 is a good cheap printer. HP.com Home Store is selling it directly for $49.99.
They are charging $5.25 for shipping, but if you get 2 of them or another item over $50 shipping is free.
Don’t forget 3% FatCash on HP.com home store purchases.
For me it was: $99.98 -2.99 Fat Cash.
Total for 2 HP P1005’s $96.99 + sales tax. Delivered free.
I thought it was at least a warm deal coming from HP Direct. Especially because most sites are out of stock on this item currently.

Typically, these are “loss-leader” deals for Fry’s just to get people into their B&M stores. Sometimes they’ll show up on-line but rarely.

- From the San Jose/Fremont/Palo Alto/Sunnyvale, etc (CA) Ad:

SKU# 5545570 - AMD Athlon 64 X2 4800+ & ECS GeForce 6100PM-M2 - $69.99 (Limit 1 Combo) SKU# 5657871 - AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ & ABIT A-N78HD - $159.99 SKU# 5658091 - AMD Phenom X3 Tri-Core 8450 (2.1GHz, 3×512KB L2, HT3600) & ABIT AN78GS - $209.99
Couple things:
1. You can perform the BSEL mod (e.g. copper tape, conductive pen, etc.) to the Intel Celeron 430 w/ECS 945GCT-M/1333 to raise the FSB from 200 to 266 to clock the CPU @ 2.4GHz with stock HSF and stock voltage. 2. ECS GF7050VT-M’s have BSEL select options in the BIOS to change the FSB (200, 266, 333, etc.) e.g. The E7200 w/GF7050VT-M will OC on that board from 266 FSB to 333 FSB (333×9.5 = 3.16GHz). All you need is standard DDR2-667. 3. MSI P43 Neo3-F (SKU# 5647611) has a $10 MIR located here, directly from MSI. Valid 7/1/08 through 7/31/08. 4. MSI PN7 SLI-FI (SKU# 5647601) has a $20 MIR located here, directly from MSI. Valid 7/1/08 through 7/31/08. 5. I do not know if the AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ is a Windsor or Brisbane core. Always assume the older core (e.g. Windsor). These are typically OEM CPU’s with no retail HSF from Fry’s B&M. The Thermaltake TR2-R1 works well with these. 6. The Intel Q9300 with MSI PN SLI-FI bundle only saves you $10 from Newegg.com prices (even with MIR as Newegg.com also has a valid $20 MIR for the same MSI board). Please keep this in mind if you’re thinking about this bundle. (However, there is $8.97 S/H on the MSI board, but if you can avoid taxes, Newegg would be the better deal in the end).
–Why do I use links to Newegg on this post?
1. So you can see the Newegg price and read the reviews. 2. Newegg usually puts a link directly to the vendor’s page by clicking “Manufacturer Info” tab near the bottom left and then clicking on “Manufacturer Product Page”. That way you can see, “i. Comparable Pricing from Newegg; ii. User Reviews on the Product; iii. Direct link to the manufacturer’s page if you want more info from the manufacturer.”
I’ll leave it up to “each their own” to decide which deal is the best, but the Intel C2D E7200 and ECS GF7050VT-M is a decent one. The combo deal is:
1. $119.99 which the CPU itself is $129.99 on Newegg. 2. It’s been the *RETAIL* box in the past. 3. The ECS board can be set to 333 FSB bringing your E7200 close to E8500 speeds (3.16 GHz) with about 5-10% performance hit due to the smaller L2 cache (3MB vs. 6MB). Only other difference between the E7200 OC’ed and E8500 is support for Intel Virtualization. Stock HSF works fine.
Good luck!
EDIT: For Reference- Seattle/Renton 4 Page Ad Flyer for July 11th, 2008 through July 15th, 2008, PDF format. [MegaUpload Link] — PDF’s inside ZIP.
*** ADDTIONAL REBATE INFORMATION ON MSI BOARDS ***
Initially, I was worried that the terms and conditions on the MSI rebates state that the “offer cannot be combined with any other discounts or promotions and the item must be sold at retail price”. The Seattle area and Dallas area ads did NOT state there was a valid rebate for the combo’s, *BUT* the Fry’s Ad in the San Jose Mercury News specifically mentions the $20 MIR on the ad for the Intel Q9300 bundle with MSI P7N SLI-FI.

Seems cheap to me considering that it’s a boxed cpu, not the oem like some of the Fry’s bundled package. Lowest price on pricegrabber was 194.99.
Shipping was around 6 bucks for me.

Sunpak CF-7078 TW Ultra-Violet and Circular Polarized Filter Twin Packs 52mm
Amazon link, make sure you choose Adorama. It’s advertised as Sunpak. However, I just received my order, which contains 2 Tiffen filters, in stead of Sunpak. The packaging slip said clearly that this kit contains 2 Tiffen filters (however, please don’t blame me if you received sth different). A Tiffen circular Polarizer alone will cost much more than this price.
It will work on any lens with 52mm thread. The Nikon D60 comes with a lens of 52mm thread.
