When passing by the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse near the convention center/Verizon Center/National Portrait Gallery in Washington DC - http://www.ruthschris.com/Steak-House/3502/Washington/Convention... - I noticed the sign out front mentioning their Prime Hour. As you'll find on the the link, Prime Hour is described as "Join us in our lounge, Monday - Friday, from 5-7 PM, for delicious bites and specialty cocktails. It's our version of a Happy Hour and trust us, YOU'LL LOVE IT! Prime Sliders, Crab Cake Sliders, a Prime Burger and more. You won't find a better spot in town to wind down, enjoy good company, good drinks, and sizzling treats."

I was surprised to find out from the bartender that the Prime Burger was a full 8 oz prime beef burger with choice of cheese plus fries for $6. Pretty great deal on an excellent burger. There were drinks and other foods on the menu, but this seemed to be the best deal. Never thought I'd get out of a Ruth'S Chris with such a small bill.

You can check with other Ruth's Chris steakhouses to see if they have happy hour deals, but I can only state that this one in DC was a delicious bargain. Please add to this topic if you find a similar deal elsewhere.

****ALERT ON MCAFEE REBATES****

It has been reported on SD that McAfee through its rebate processor, Parago, has started to enforce a one per product restriction on its rebates. Until this is sorted out, submitting more than one rebate per product is not advised even if the rebate has a different rebate number and different offer period. The rebate invalidation message has been reported as "Your rebate request did not pass our audit process".

While this rebate was initially noted as valid, it is possible it has been re-evaluated and is now invalid for purchase date.

What is quite shocking about this is that the rebate is invalid because the rebate number is now attached to a completely different product, time period and value: McAfee 2010 Internet Security 3 User at Office Depot with an offer period starting 06/13/2010 (from memory), and is worth $35.
