I've bought this brand before before on clearance at Shircuit City and they seem to git er done but I've not done any testing.

Caution: I know nothing about the quality of these! I saw 4 reviews on Amazoon. One of the reviews is just a rail against Monster, one loved them and the other 2 reviews said the batts didn't last long. Buyer beware!

Not sure if this is a repost or not. But Fry's is now selling the Core2Duo E6850 with a ECS Motherboard for $288.99.

Last week it was on an INTEL board.

I have had some problems with ECS boards in the past, but when they do work, they work really well.

I'm not sure if this offer is everywhere or not. This offer is from the CVS on the corner of Garfield/Graves in Monterey Park, CA.

I've gotten two $25 gift cards so far. No coupon necessary, just tell the cashier when you pick up your prescription to give you the gift card. At least for the T series (15.4" version). I really can't talk for any other models / screen sizes because this is the one I am most familiar with. The configuration I have been watching is ~$80 cheaper than yesterday.

Now though they are claiming a 3-4 week delay if you add the DVD burner.

For those who don't mind the 3-4 week wait hopefully you can jump on this.

Oh, BTW, they MOVED the option for the 9-cell battery. It now only appears on the review screen just before you add the laptop to your cart. Look at where it says 6-cell battery on your config. Should be a link just under that.
