I was looked online yesterday and ordered it for my 10 yr old who enjoys building stuff. He already has completed all the models from the 600+ piece erector set.

Its got 1400+ parts and the metal is supposed to be pretty sturdy unlike chinese made erector-like sets that are available here. This one is made in Czech Republic.

The erector and Mercur parts might be cross-compatible.

I'm not sure how widespread this mailer is, but even if you don't get one, it might be worth a try. I couldn't get this to work online for me, even with the mailer, but it worked by phone using their automated system. They want your mobile number (use the primary), billing zip code, and last four digits of your SSN/EIN number.

Decent reviews on a personal laser printer. No networking capability (unless you hook it up to an external network server or network connectivity box). For a cheap B&W printer with a small footprint and good printouts, this seems like an unbeatable deal!

This bad boy is priced double or triple for a new one at the big retailers. Sandisk is a good brand (I'd rather sport it over Apple). Nice big color screen , expandability, and good reviews.
