Just got back from Kohls where they are having a sale on all Fisher Price toys for 24 hours. All Fisher Price toys are 50% + another 15% of the discounted price until tomorrow 1PM (What the manager said).

When scanned at the register it did not show up correctly. I showed the display to the manager and they took the discount off.

$59.99 - $29.99(50%) - $4.49(15%) = $25.51.

We also bought some other fisher price items and they did show the correct discount.

Just came back from my WalMart in Oceanside and they appear to have various two-packs of blu ray movies. I searched on their website and the prices were cheaper in store. This is a great way to build up your collection. From my memory these were the titles:

Costco now has the Waste King 8000 1hp Garbage Disposal online for $79 shipped. This disposal is very powerful and has a lifetime in-home service warranty. I don’t know if a membership is necessary to buy this, can someone confirm? (I do have a membership so used that to buy it)

Similar to old deal for 9880 here. However, this is now in stock and it is the EZ mount system, instead of the 3 bolt. If you’ve ever installed one of these, you will know the EZ mount is a life saver.

For a while Costco was only carrying the cheap imitation of the Wasteking called Titan. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME NOR ARE THE MADE BY THE SAME COMPANY

There are 2 main reputable manufacturers of garbage disposers, Waste King and ISE. They make most of the rebadged (ie Ka, Kenmore, Franke, etc) disposers as well as their own. While I have no personal experience with Titan, from all the research I did (including emailing both the companys that make WasteKing and Titan) I believe Titan is made in China as a Waste King knock off and they have set up a company with a name similiar to Waste King’s parent company to appear one in the same - they are not.

Waste King, the company that offers in-home warranties on its high-quality disposals, is a subsidiary of Anaheim Manufacturing Corp., and has been in business making disposals since 1946. The importer of Titan chose their company name, “Anaheim Marketing” to closely resemble the Waste King manufacturer, “Anaheim Manufacturing” I believe in an effort to try and confuse the consumer. The “Marketing company” even set up a mail drop for their address close by the real “manufacturing company” to further make it appear they are the same. They are not - I contacted both companies and they confirmed this - they are competitors.

Titan may or may not be a good disposer - but seems to me they are trying to confuse the consumer into thinking something they are not - which always sends up red flags to me.

Now that Costco has the real deal 1 HP WasteKing for $79 shipped with a lifetime warranty - thats over $90 cheaper than can be found elsewhere - why buy an imitation?

I think this is the lowest price I’ve ever seen for these.

I got these several months ago and I’m using them with a 488RC2 for my Canon 40D. I’ve been very pleased with the rig. I’m 6′2″, and I can stand up straight and look through the eyepiece without raising the middle bar at all (raising the middle bar reduces stability). Sure, there are sturdier setups, but not at this price.

It is said that there are three desirable qualities that everyone wants in a tripod: 1)light wight 2)stability 3) inexpensive. You can pick any two.

This one is tall, not really heavy but not light weight, pretty stable and inexpensive*.
