Okay, so I just broke my glasses last night and as usual I frantically scanned the interwebs to try and find a deal on glasses.

I’ve used Sears Optical before, and they are really great for exams and just buying glasses. If you don’t get an exam you will need a prescription in hand.

The coupon on the left says $69.99 for complete glasses (frames and lenses) for single vision lenses with $39.99 frames.

The coupon on the right says $99.99 for complete glasses (frames and lenses) for progressive or bifocal lenses and $69.99 frames.

I am assuming that for the $99.99 coupon you could still get the single vision lenses with the more expensive frames and still get this coupon, but as always YMMV.

Looks like if you use your eBay Mastercard you can get 15% back up to $30 on purchases up till 12/30. Haven’t read the fine print, but this would be hot if you can stack with the Live discount. This TV seems to get pretty good reviews. It has 4 HDMI inputs, NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners, 5000:1 contrast (for whatever that’s worth).

Shipping was $99 for me, not sure if that’s the same across the board. But, even for a refurb, $900 shipped seems like a good price to me on a 47″ 1080p set.
