During the week of 7/13 - 7/19, officemax.com offered HP M2727NF LJ Printer for $299.99 after Instant Savings of $300.00. And HP has a $300 rebate for it (excludes product purchased from OM.)
Many asked OD to match the price of officemax.com to get the printer for $299.99 and request the $300 rebate. So the printer becomes free + tax.
Ignore its policy, many OD stores refused PM. More stories is in previous post
After a week, the deal is back on OM web and its retail stores.
I think OD can not refuse to PM the printed ad.
Check out Weekly Ad if your local store offer it. It says save $300 thru 8/2 without specifying the price, but the original price in OM stores is $599.99

Texas shoppers get a break from state and local sales taxes on August 15, 16 and 17 - the states annual tax holiday. Lay-away plans can be used again this year to take advantage of the sales tax holiday.

The law exempts most clothing and footwear priced under $100 from sales and use taxes, which could save shoppers about $8 on every $100 they spend. Backpacks under $100 and used by elementary and secondary students are also exempt. A backpack is a pack with straps one wears on the back. The exemption during the sales tax holiday includes backpacks with wheels, provided they can also be worn on the back like a traditional backpack, and messenger bags. The exemption does not include items that are reasonably defined as luggage, briefcases, athletic/duffle/gym bags, computer bags, purses or framed backpacks. Ten or fewer backpacks can be purchased tax-free at one time without providing an exemption certificate to the seller.

If you’ve read the book “Centennial” by James A Michener, or were fortunate enough to watch the 21 hour television adaptation of it, then you might understand why this series gets such high reviews. Out of 183 reviews on Amazon only four are rated 3 stars or less.

This series, released in 1978 was finally released on DVD July 29th, 2008. The best price I’ve seen for this series is $38.99 on Amazon. Amazon has already gone in and out of stock, BB is backorderd, and no Best Buy in my area has it in stock. CC had a promising price of $35 but it is back up to $59.98 AND backordered. While there could be hundreds of combinations of great deals using the Borders coupon code, I think this one deserves it’s own mention.
