WWWoundup: Early Edition, Or Only Slightly Late, Anyway
Hey, look, it's still more-or-less lunchtime and here's today's WWWoundup. Now what am I going to procrastinate about all afternoon?
- Gosh, I wonder why there's no way to contact this Craigslist poster about his autographed copy of Plato's Republic.
- Batman can do just about anything...except buy insurance for the Batmobile and the Batcave.
- Parenthood at its most revolting: check out this nauseating wolf spider covered in baby spiders.
- Totally Looks Like picks up where Spy's old "Separated at Birth" left off. Glenn Close would've made a great Robocop.
- The Royal College of Art shows us what happens when artists design cars.
- NSFW, probably: here is the grossest animated GIF I've seen today. Warning: it's advertising a cruel Teutonic apparatus called "Penis Enlargement Pants." At least those dastardly Germans used a CGI model and not a real guy.
Four O'Clock Flash: I wanted to find something good to make up for yesterday's crappy insurance-fraud game, and boy, did I: Totem Destroyer is one of my all-time favorite games in my all-time favorite genre, a physics-based puzzler that I simply cannot stop playing. I lost count of how many tries it took me to get through level 15. This is why we do the Four O'Clock Flash.
