I have saved a lot of money from this forum and (hopefully) finally found a way to give back. This blog explains how to use a free software application called Gizmo Project to make free calls from any computer. I am not new to VoiP and have been using Skype since the beginning so I was a little skeptical. Skype has a pretty good deal for around $35 a year you can get unlimited calls. However, you don’t get to receive calls to Skype unless you also buy a call in number as well. This combination of Gizmo Project and Gran Central from Google allow you to not only make unlimited calls but also to receive them on your very own free local area code number. I followed his guide and it works exactly as he described. Since it is free, give it a shot you have nothing to lose.

Was marked $4.99 on the shelf. Rang at register $1.29. This was the normal sized, 12 oz bottle, I bought “Essence”. Not sure if this is for all scents or just this one. Again, this was not advertised by signs or anything else I could find. Lowest I have ever seen it.

I’ve been looking for an LCD bigger than 42″ for my family room and this one looks pretty good to me. It’s advertised at $1499 at CC and BB, but it’s showing up $200 cheaper at BB now. I was thinking about trying to pricematch at CC or Sears and then throw a 10% coupon on top of it to make the deal sweeter. Of course that would be YMMV, but worth a try.

I’m not interested in buying and returning things to get the “combined purchase” discounts at BB, but if your ethics will allow you to do that, go for it.

I received an email from Bowlersparadise.com offering this new Elite Black Label bowling ball for $79.99 plus shipping and handling (about $20). You also have to pay $20 deposit for a questionnaire which is then refunded to you as $20 gift card which can be used on the Elite website (Elitebowling.com). The ball is undrilled, so expect to pay extra for that service.

Hello all. It’s time for me to share what I found again.

I’ve been looking for a cheap video card on FW. I saw this Radeon 2600xt deal and I couldn’t make a decision among 2600xt($60), 7600gt($70), or 8600gt($80). As I googled for more info on GPUs I found THIS. It’s the cheapest price around including at New egg Here, which is nearly 50% more if factor in shipping. Although the rebate is larger but it’s from EVGA so there should be no problem.

The reviews are better at Newegg compare to Amazon’s. I believe you can play Doom 3 with it on medium setting fine if you play games like this or something older. If you don’t like it in the end you can always return it.

Hurry and grab it before it’s gone.
