Ok, no flaming please, I don’t post here alot, but this is definitely worth looking into if you have a Goodwill store nearby, especially if it happens to be near a Target store (I find the one closest to a Target Greatland here has the best Target castoffs).

Anyhow, was there this afternoon and got the Guitar Hero III bundle for Wii, game still in cellophane, all complete, for $49.99. Talked to the cashier and apparently they had a couple for both Wii and Xbox 360 and they got them because the boxes had damage and couldn’t be sold. Ours had no plastic wrapping and the end was torn and crumpled a bit, no effect on the content.

I know this is a HUGE YMMV thing, but figured it was post-worthy nonetheless. This bundle is sold out everywhere around here, and goes for $89.99 when they do have it, so $40 savings on sold out game was HOT for us!

I just got back from the Detroit area microcenter, and they have the Lama V3 indoor 4 channel RTF helicopter for 59.99 after 30 instant savings. They are originally marked 159.99 and they had a TON. Like stacks of them. The heli comes with a CD and USB cable, so I am assuming it has a trainer, however the box didn’t say anything about it. It also comes with all the required batteries and a charger. These are a pretty popular model, so parts should be easy to find online.

This deal might be limited to just the NYC area. Went to National Wholesale Liquidators on Broadway(Downtown Manhattan) to get some toilet paper and saw that the iPod Nano 8gb white or silver for $169. Saw it in their circular and bought one. After I bought it I realized I could have gone to Best Buy that was 2 stores over and tried to PM but I was in a rush so I just gave up on that. But for those fo you that live in NYC and want to try a PM or pick one up for 169 visit the National Wholesale Liquidators. Its on the first page of their weekly circular but don’t know if it is national.

Was at Lowe’s (in Danvers, MA) this morning they had large selection of curtain rods, tiebacks, etc. that were marked 75% - 80% off. Picked up a 72″-120″ rod originally $37.00 for $8.74. Clerk said they were getting ready for a reset. Large variety of sizes & styles, some are hideous but others were quite nice. Bought a couple of things & used a $10 off $25 coupon.

Just picked up 3 of the Flavia Fusion drink stations at Macy’s on clearance for $30. Father-in-law and brother-in-law both wanted second ones for the office, & for $30, I picked up one for home.
