Office Depot has the Brother MFC-665cw for $99. No rebate, thats the checkout price. This printer has a phone and message machine and fax and scanner/copier and wireless and photo printing option. I didn’t see it in their flyer, so perhaps its just a “at this store only” type thing. The store is at 14501 Oceangate, Hawthorne CA 90250. Here it is folks – essentially the equivalent to the HD 3870 without all the worry of price gouging and back orders. This one might not last long considering that all HD 3870’s are out of stock and as of earlier today all of the 256MB 3850s were as well. I highly recommend this series – I nabbed the 256MB 3850 for $170 and it’s the most impressive “mid-range” card I’ve ever seen since getting into the graphics game in 1999. Mine runs stable at 770 core, 2000 on the ram and is beating an 8800gts in all respects – quiet, efficient, and runs cool. Do a little research and grab one before they are gone. Enjoy.

If you have a Circuit City near you they have the Sirius Sporster 5 for $149.99 + tax, which is a good deal itself. On top of that though Sirius is running a promo that if you buy a Pre paid gift card ($49.99) to use on activation and monthly cost, they will knock another $30.00 off the radio at the register.

Total you pay $119.99 for the Sporster 5 and then of course the $49.99 for the gift card (which you need anyway to pay monthly fee) + your state tax.

I was at Office Depot in Burbank (Media Center) and they had the TI-84 Plus Silver Addition on clearance for $41.04. I used a $10 off $40 coupon (yes, it worked, apparently didnt think calculator was a technology item) and final price is $31.04 plus tax. Sells for $130 at Amazon. Is the Pink coloured model, but at least it is easy to spot across the room…

I bought one, and they had 4 left. I dont know if this item is at other ODs. Item number 652955.

I ordered a $100 MP3 player, sent them a money order, And I was told There will be extra $15 charge. Then I wait 3 weeks, pay $20 shipping, and find out there is a $12 custom fee.

Its a month later and I find out the player was defective. Now I am told to ship the item back, another $20, and a ton of inconvenience. After another three weeks, and emailing Chinavasion countless times, I get told they cant find the return.

So I am out $167, have no recourse, and whats worse is I could have bought the same MP3 player at Wal-Mart for $110, and had a warrantee.
