I have a Sony HTIB (DAV-FR9) that I’ve been using with my PS3 for blu-ray movies, which only had a single optical input, so I’ve been only getting lossy audio. I’ve been wanting to get a SLIM AV receiver that would fit in my ikea TV stand, which only has 6.5″ height. The JVC fits the bill perfectly, it looks good, it’s thin, it has HDMI, but no next gen format decoding doesn’t bother me since the PS3 can decode them all except DTS-HDMA, which it can’t bitstream anyways, and will decode next year (crosses fingers). All I need is PCM through HDMI, and this receiver does that. It also has a faroudja upconverter for your other sources, which is great for me since my HDTV doesn’t have a great deinterlacer. If you’re into HD DVD with a 1080i player, run the video through this and its output will be perfect 1080p without any deinterlacing artifacts.

Normally brand new this is $350+ online, so I’ll take refurbished for less than half the price.
Shipping for me was less than 20 bucks.

Not to mention this one of the cheapest HDMI receivers out there at this price, and not just a HDMI switcher, but able to accept PCM audio through HDMI.
I don’t post here a lot, so if this is not a very good deal, please don’t go nuts on the red

After lots of research about Bluetooth 2.0 headsets, I found this to be have the best value for money. sells for $40 + shipping everywhere else ($60+ on Amazon). Mine has shipped already.

this one has good DSP (noise reduction) and is light weight, but battery life is comparatively low (3 hrs to 8hrs on Plantronics 510) because it is very lightweight. Reviews are good as well.
