Labor day special in-store only. Note that the flyer lists the pack with the china, but they let me have the crash pack. This is a good deal on great cymbals, especially for those of us that bought the $150 drum kits recently. You get 3 cymbals plus hi-hats (5 total) and a cymbal bag for $150! Zildjians rarely go on sale.
A whole cymbal kit at a very nice price! The Zildjian ZBT Pro Cymbal 4-Pack features a 16″ crash, 20″ ride, 14″ hi-hats, and a free 18″ crash plus cymbal bag.

Apparently Pevs is having a paint ball sale. 2 cases for $65 of DraXxuS Midnight Paintballs. I picked up 4 =) Each case has 2000 paint balls. These balls have a decent review. I played with them this weekend and didn’t have any dimples in them or break or chopped balls. Typically these balls are $40-50 a case. These have an harder outer shell so they are recommended for woods. However I didn’t have an issue with them when I played a game of hyperball.
*EDIT* With a quick Google search I was able to find the Pev’s links for labor day sale items, and I have confirmed with the Rockville store that they are open today and the sale ends today. This sale is B&M only.
Pev’s Sale Link
I believe they also have a 10% off marker accessories too.
Here is a link for a review of these balls
Midnight review
Better hurry these are selling fast!

Macy’s is clearing out their stock of Long Sleeve Men’s Dress shirts in all sizes this weekend! They are located in the acrylic shirt bins with a sign on top that says $9.99. And the shirts are great brands: Tommy Hilfiger, Perry Ellis, Ralph Lauren, Van Heusen, Nautica & more! Ends today, but if you need dress shirts like I did, you can’t beat the price. Regular price on these shirts is between $42 and $80!
Also, if you are in the South, Belk has some pretty good clearance prices on dress shirts also with a large selection. 50% off the lowest clearance price. Not as good at the Macy’s sale, but the Calvin Klein shirt I just bought was $15.
Good luck!

I was ready to pull the trigger on this GPS at Staples for $299.99, but I found it here for $219.99. Yes, it’s TigerDirect, but there are no rebates and it’s a new (not refurbished) unit.
Product Features
InVion GPS-5V106 5-inch Wide Touch Screen GPS Navigation System General Features: Windows CE.Net 4.2 OS 5-inch 16:9 wide LCD touch screen (480 x 272 RGB) Number of points of interest: over 3 million 1 GB SD card preloaded with NAVTEQ mapping for US Canada Samsung processor 400 MHz 64 MB SDRAM Sirf III GPS antenna Bluetooth compatible
The build quality on these is excellent. Early reviews slammed this unit for its software but TigerDirect seems to be shipping updated units with Destinator 6 software. Destinator > TomTom. There’s more information about the 4″ model of this unit in this thread.

I posted this in the other Fry’s thread, but thought it was good enough to warrant a post of its own.
Monday 9/3. I got the following deal from Circuit City:
- Original price : $2599.99
- Link through Entertainment Book 10% off via MIR (as gift card) : -$260
- Contacted CC Customer Support to get 10% Labor Day coupon applied (valid for this TV): -$260
- Picked up in store (TV wasn’t ready when I got there, CC gift card) : -$24
- Pricematched local Fry’s store (clerk mistakenly? PM Fry’s.com) : -$600 (or -$100 if PM Fry’s B&M)
Final price if MIR comes thru: $1455.99 + tax I got lucky with the PM and gift card, but if you have the 2008 Entertainment book and a local Fry’s you could get this TV for $1979.99 + tax, still an unbeatable price for a local pickup and safety of being able to return
Here is an excellent resource for your new TV: AVS Forum

Hello fellow Deal hunters, Has anyone figured out these riddles from Sierra Trading Post, for free shipping?
Here they are, and I’m completely stumped.
first one: “Name Wade’s 84 off-field hit.” hint: a Boston Red Sox player.
second riddle: “Name the ship that sailed its captain to fame on the waves of the first net of its kind.” hint: fictitious TV program involving young yacht race winner.
Thanks for your help.
