The Samsung 5.1 Channel Home Theater System HTX40 is being offered in this week circular at CC for $224.99 ($249.99 after $25 instant savings).

P.C. Richards has the same in this week circular for $199.97.

So PM CC to P.C. Richard 224.99 - 110% price difference=27.52= $197.47.

I went to kmart to get the far t-shirts and found Mead 5-star 1-subject notebooks for $1.00 each. Staples has them for $3.91.

Usually Office Depot and Staples have them for 89-99 cents once a year, but I havent seen it yet, so I bought them at k-mart.

The 3-subjects are $3, and the 5-subjects are $5

I usually don’t splurge on school supplies, but the only exception is the notebook, because I find that the mead notebooks don’t fall apart during the semester.

I’ve been wanting to pick up the LOTR set in the Platinum Extended Edition. I saw them on sale at Best Buy for 12.99 per Movie; I then flipped open the Circuit City ad and saw they were $8.99. Since BB was closer, I went and price matched, no problem. He thanked me for bringing in the flyer to make the price match easier Other than a quick manager approval, no problems. I understand price matching at BB is a YMMV deal, though, so…..

I went to a Walgreens today to score on the buy 2, get 1 free coupon for Oral B in todays paper.

Six were rung up. They are on sale for $2.39, $1.39/each after August Easy Saver Coupon. The manufacturers coupon in todays paper is B2, G1 free.

So, I paid and 3 catalinas printed out, $2, $4 and $10

I did this twice and it happened twice.

We don’t get many firearm deals on here, but I found one today at Kmart. They have the Mossberg 500 12ga shotgun on clearance from $239.99 down to $192. They have an additional 30% off clearance merchandise, which brought the price down to under $135. Also, they had Marlin 925 .22 Bolt Action rifle, originally $169.99, clearance to $136, after clearance discount it was $95. Pretty good deals, in my opinion. This was in B&M at the Douglasville, GA, Kmart. I don’t know availability at other locations, so YMMV.

Just went to CompUSA to pick up a new mouse after my three year old MX1000 bit the dust. I had read good things about the G7 mouse and basically wanted to pick up this $99 mouse to try it out at a local B&M.

Imagine my surprise when it rang up at $49.99. Even after rebates this mouse does not go for such a low price.

This was at Park Meadows Mall CompUSA in South Denver area. Your Mileage Might Vary. The cashier said he wasn’t aware of the mouse being closed out, but sure looks like a closeout price!

Deal of the day. It’s been a better price in the past, but maybe by only 10 cents. Has a “value” of $17, but I think it regularly sells for around $10. Still, currently only 70 cents more expensive than their 5.0mm TOSLINK cable. Gets good reviews. Cable is $3.94, 3-4 day USPS is $2.61. I personally needed a 6FT length to get from my Bad Axe II to my Z-680.

I went to a southern Indiana Walgreens this morning to do the buy $20 worth of Proctor & Gamble products, get $10 register rewards. The large size Pantene is on sale 2/$12. I used 4 $3 coupons off Pantene from the insert today. Instead of just getting $10 register rewards, I got $16 register rewards so I made $4 on it. The only catch is that you can’t use the register rewards on P&G products. I have already done this deal 3 times today with different products and have got $16 register rewards each time.
