Admittedly, I might be the only person interested in making this purchase this way, but I’d figure I’d share.

This is not an item stocked in stores and I had not seen it offered with free shipping before. This is close to the lowest price I have been able to find from “never heard of ‘em” resellers.

The Sunpentown Model SR-1881B Induction Cooktop is a single 1200 watt “burner” that you can plug into an ordinary wall outlet. Power efficiency is reported to be 83%. Cooking vessels must react to a magnetic field to be heated by induction. In other words, pots and pans to which a magnet will stick will work.

This might need to go in the “freebies” pile, but here goes anyhow. I have belonged to triprewards for a good while, just using it once in a while. Ended up with over 20,000 points. Long story short, they have an agreement with some realtors (Coldwell Banker for one) to give you points if you go thru them for the sale or purchase of a home. We ended up getting a bunch of points, which will turn into gift certificates at several retailers (Amazon for one. We will end up with over $600 in Amazon gift certificates by going thru them.) We used them for purchasing a home - they assign you an agent. It all worked out well for us.
