OK this is my first post so be gentle.I’m in the market for a GPS system since I have to move to LA soon.I can’t justify spending $400-$600 for a GPS system.Maybe I’m old school but I have managed fine for past 35yrs.I see in the Circuit City ad that you can save $300 off a Magellan Maestro 4000 gps system if you sign up for Vonage phone and internet.Now, i don’t know if you have to buy the router and telephone adapter or can you say that you have that already.Basically, I don’t need this Vonage thing but I do need a major discount on a gps system.Also,anyone out there know if you can cancel this as soon as you get home.How good is this gps unit.Any thoughts and inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Went to Guitar Center - got a hand out Memorial Day promotional card that stated I could have a company called TuneCoredeliver 5 of my own songs to iTunes for free.
It says it’s a Memorial Day promotion but the code on the card does not expire until Dec 31st, 2007

CODE IS: GuitarCenter (lower-case)

Works as follows:
1) go to tunecore.com, upload the songs etc
2) when you get to the page where it allows you to put in a certificate code enter ” GuitarCenter” (lower-case)
3) you will not be charged for the 5 songs but you still get charged the annual charge of $9.98

The coupon code is worth about $5 - TuneCore usually charges $0.99 a song

Told my friend about the code - it worked for him as well. No need to buy anything at Guitar Center to have it work

Ok… This deal was posted back in April… I think the computer on that one was a little bit better… Not a great computer but good at this price… It is available at several stores near me for In Store Pick Up… Heres the math…

Today’s sale flyer shows the 237T model for $688, which is considerably cheaper than the $899 regular price. I bought one of these after the Magnavox fiasco for about the same price and returned it because of a faulty tuner (a known defect). Maybe you’ll have better luck, or you can wait until they’re out of stock to buy a different set with the rain check.
