This afternoon I found two-packs of Act Restoring Mouthwash (Anticavity) on a clearance endcap at Target in Mt. Laurel, NJ. The price for the two pack (2 x 18 Fl Oz.) bottles was $4.24. This was the same price that one bottle was listed for on the regular product shelves.

Add in a $1 manufacturer’s coupon that ran in some newpapers a few weeks ago (sorry, I can’t recall the date.) It was in the Courier-Post (South NJ) newspaper.

This makes it a final price of 2 bottles for $3.24.

For daily use, a 530 mL bottle will last 1 person for about 53 days.

Amazon.com is showing the unique Krups Moka Brew gourmet electric brewer for $70 shipped…retail $160.

When they were available they generally sold for $130 plus shipped. The real deal is that these have not been available in the U.S. for over 2 years. Their reputation is such that used ones sell on eBay for $120ish, new over $180 plus shipping.

This machine is capable of outstanding coffee…but it is definitely not for everyone. No timer,and a bit more work grinding and tamping than a standard drip machine. But the unique pressurize brewing results in coffee that is different, and better than I have seen out of any other electric machine. I would describe it as complex and dense but not bitter. Kind of like one of my ex’s.

Please check out the user reviews on Amazon. Some folks hate it. Some of them value quick ease operation more than the final result.

Here is a link to the Coffeegeek review. The forums had a lot of discussion on it as well.

4-6 weeks delivery time, and it may be an error. But definitely a hot deal if you have been trying to find one, or are just up for a new twist on the morning java.

I planned on doing my oil change today and headed over to AutoZone. I grabbed 6 quarts of Mobil 1 and thought to myself, I should invest in a set of wheel chocks instead of using 4 logs to put around my tires. So I looked high and low throughout the store and thought, that’s stupid they don’t have any. Plenty of jacks and ramps though. I found a clearance table near the front window/entrance (that wasn’t marked clearance) but I noted that some other items were marked down. Curious to see how much they were going to burn a hole in my pocket, I asked politely if the clerk could check the price for me. It rang up at $0.01 with a $0.01 discount thus making it $0.00. She was like, uhh yeah right. Asked 3 other associates and said, give it to him whatever. They assumed it was just being cleared out of inventory. So I tossed them in my car and decided to go back in the store to look for another set (since 2 is only good for 1 wheel). High up on a shelf I spotted another set next to a floor jack, and again they rang up at $0.01 with a $0.01 discount. Joked with the same clerk, if I had to pay tax on $0.01 and stormed out before they decided to change their minds.

Best Buy has this Sharp Carousel 1100w Microwave on their website for $43.99 for the silver color only. The Black and White versions are listed at $84.99. The website shows them as Sold Out. I went to the store and had them search inventory and found a store close by that had two of them. Had them hold them, (needed a second one for a wedding gift) then went in with my printed out 10% off coupons, and to my surprise, they scanned two 10% coupons for 10% off each one, making the price before tax $39.59 each.

Yugster has as their deal of the day the Logitech Play Link wireless extenders for only $9.99 plus shipping. As noted in the the title they are refurbished, these are a low hassle way to hook up your PS2, Xbox, 360 or TiVo to the internet wirelessly. I bought a set back when Frys had them for $15.00 for my 360 and they work fine for online play but for downloading large files a wired connection is still the best option.

Saw on the OD clearance thread that, yesterday, the HP dv6205us went on Clearance for $500.
There is a similar deal for the DV9205 (17 inch) for $700.

HP has a $50 Dollar notebook rebate that expires 30-June.
It seems the Rebate is invalid at most of the Big Box Stores but Office Depot is not excluded.
