I hope this isn’t a repost. I searched but didn’t find this system.

I was at OD earlier today and saw an RCA home theater system for $149.99 with a $50 rebate for a final price of $99.99. The RCA model number is RT2760 and the OD sku is 620810. The system is silver in color and it has five small speakers and a subwoofer in addition to the receiver. The box indicates the total power as 720 watts without providing the distortion. This is the same system at Amazon and it received decent reviews.

This is an inexpensive home theater system that might be useful in a small apartment or spare bedroom. A coupon would make this a really hot deal if the OD CSR lets you apply one, but this is probably considered a tech item.

As of May 7, this deal is alive again. Although not advertised in this week’s OD circular, this system is back on sale at B&M OD for $99.99 after $50 rebate (expires 5/12/07). The link for the new $50 rebate is below -

The use of any coupons would make this a great deal. However, the OD CSR I spoke with said that this is considered a tech item so OD coupons probably won’t work. They might accept a Staples coupon (YMMV). The OD website price remains at $169.99.

As of June 3, the price on this system has dropped to $89.99 AR, in store only. I don’t know if this is an advertised price in this week’s circular, but my local OD had several units placed up front with this as an advertised price. There is a report on SD that this system was purchased for $51.03 AR at an OD , but YMMV on that price. My local OD had the $89.99 price. I could not find the rebate on the OD website, so make sure you get a rebate printed out when you purchase.

I’m sure some of you are already aware of this motherboard, but I just discovered it and thought others might be interested in it as well. It looks like the price cuts are hitting early fellas. I went ahead and ordered mine because it’s unlikely prices will fall on the E6600 much below $235 for several weeks. The E6600’s new MSRP is suggested to be at $224 but it’s usually higher than that at first. This is only $10 more anyways and you get a free copy of Supreme Commander.

Just got back from home depot to get some paint for my house and got a 25% off mail in rebate on the paint. It says valid between 4/19/2007 and 4/25/2007 and good on 1 and 5 gallon buckets. Just was in local Blockbuster this morning. They have a pass for free snack with rental. cost is $5.99 good for a month. as the store manager explained to me, every time you rent something you get a snack/drink price $1.99 or lower free. Limit one per day.

should work out well for total package subscribers who will drop by store more than a couple of times a week.
